The pistachio belongs to the cashew family with a small tree originally from the Middle East. Iran, is the first producer of pistachio in the world due its climate conditions which is enough sunny for the trees’ growth. Pistachio has numerous health benefits. It is excellent source of protein, iron, vitamin E and fibre. It is considered as an anticancer food since it has higher levels of some antioxidants than other nuts.

Ahmad Aghaei pistachio is rather large and almond shaped. It is one of the long types and has a whitest shell compared to other kinds of pistachios. Nowadays, production of Ahmad Aghei is increasing and is very popular in some international markets such as Greece and India. Available sizes of Ahmad Aghaei Pistachio are 20/22, 22-24 and 24/26, with 18/20 in small quantities.
