What is Sayer Dates?

Sayer dates, also known as Estameran dates, are one of the most popular and high demand dates products in Dates market. Sayer dates are one of the sweetest dates among all types of dates fruit. Its sugar content is more than 75%. Premium type of these dates are planted in Khuzestan province in south of Iran. The color of this date is dark brown and  tends to black and red. Sayer Dates price is cheaper than other semi-dry dates in the world.

The time of harvesting of the dates is around the beginning of September to the beginning of October.
It is part of semi-dry dates with less than 18% moisture. due to this , It can be kept and storage in normal temperature for longer time than other dates types. About 40% of Iran’s date export share belongs to Estameran dates. The degree of stickiness of the core to the flesh of Sayer dates is very low.

Sayer dates is one of the most economical and cost-effective types of dates in local and also international dates market. Its kernel can be easily separated from the dates and has the ability to be sold seedless as well.

A large amount of production of these dates is exported to other countries. The major customers  are from European and North American countries, and especially Russia. One of the reasons for the popularity of this date can be its high sugar content and low cellulose. Russia, Canada, Australia, England ,New Zealand  and Germany are the most buyers of this type of dates in the world.
